PROCLAMATION
By JAMES A. R. M`KENZIES, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Southland.
IN pursuance of the provisions of the "Provincial Reserved Bills Act, 1858," section 2, I hereby notify that the Ordinances passed by the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Southland, entitled,
"The Immigration and British Agent Ordinance, 1861,"
"The Fencing Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Ferries Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Audit Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Dog Nuisance Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Cattle Trespass Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Auction Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Education Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Appropriation Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Licensing Amendment Ordinance, 1862,"
"The Sheep Ordinance, 1856, Amendment Ordinance, 1862,"
have been laid before His Excellency the Governor, and that His Excellency has assented to the same.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Southland, this twenty-sixth day of March Eighteen hundred and sixty-two.

PROCLAMATION
By JAMES A. R. M`KENZIES, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Southland.
WHEREAS by the seventh section of the "Cattle Trespass Ordinance, 1862," it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation in any town, or part thereof, within the Province of Southland, as shall be named or defined, and upon such day as shall be named by the Superintendent when notifying the same;
Now, therefore, I, the said Superintendent, do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Ordinance shall come into operation in that part of the Town of Invercargill which is bounded on the East by that part of Doon Street which extends between Forth Street and Spey Street; on the South by Forth Street; on the West by that part of Dee Street which extends between Forth Street and Spey Street; and on the North by Spey Street, upon the first day of May 1862.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Southland, this twenty-sixth day of March One thousand eight hundred and sixty-two.
