NOTICE TO MAKE FENCE.

To William Arnott, Owner of Section 7, Block V., Inch-Clutha.

TAKE Notice that I desire that the boundary or separating fence between Section 6 and Section 7, Block V., Inch-Clutha, be made immediately, and that such fence shall be according to Section 3, Schedule B of the “Fencing Ordinance, 1872.”

NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application under the 47th, &c. sections of the “Otago Waste Land Act, 1872,” and amendments, in Sections 6, 8, 21, and 25, Block IV, Teviot, has been received from Samuel Crossan, and duly recorded, and that Tuesday, the 17th day of October, 1876, at the Court House, Roxburgh, is the day and place appointed for deciding such application (if unopposed), and notifying objections (if any), which may have been lodged.

Owners unknown, for trespassing on James Dickie’s paddocks, Waikaka, for which four pounds driving expenses and four shillings per head damages is claimed, and in default of being released the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Popotunoa on Friday, the 13th day of October, 1876, at twelve o’clock noon.

One blue Cow and Calf, branded C H off rump ;
One red and white Cow, with Calf ;

One red Cow, branded D W off rump ;
Dark red Cow (with white face) and Calf, brand on near rump indistinct.

Owners unknown, for trespassing on the Hundred, for which three shillings each are claimed, and in default of being released the above cattle will be sold at the public Pound at Islabank, on Friday, the 6th day of October, 1876, at twelve o’clock noon.

IMPOUNDED on the 21st day of September, 1876, by Mr. A. Swan, Manager Waipahi Station :

One grey Horse, bad forefeet, branded like star on near shoulder ;
One chestnut Mare, off hip down, part of a halter on, branded like C on near shoulder.

Owner unknown, for trespassing on Waipahi Station, for which four shillings per head damages, and one pound driving expenses are claimed ; and in default of being released the above horses will be sold at the public Pound at Popotunoh, on Friday, the 20th day of October, 1876, at twelve o’clock noon.

TEACHER Wanted for the Side School, Wangoloa. Salary: Government allowance and School Fees, with good residence. Applications, with testimonials, to be lodged at the Education Office before the 29th instant.

WANTED a Qualified Teacher for Hamiltons and Low Burn, half-time schools. Salary, £100 per annum with residence. Applications with testimonials to be lodged at the Education Office, Dunedin, before October 1, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately existing between Robert Rossbotham and James Frederick Peake, under the style or firm of “T. Robinson and Co., Agricultural Implement Merchants, Dunedin,” has been Dissolved as from the 2nd September instant.

AS ignorance prevails respecting the purchase of Crown Lands at public sales by auction, attention is drawn to the Act entitled “The Crown Lands Sales Extortion Prevention Act,” especially clauses 3 and 8 of said Act, which are as follows :—

Every person who shall actually receive money or other valuable consideration for abstaining to bid for or compete for the purchase of any Crown Lands which shall have been advertised for sale by public auction, and whether or not the same land shall be put up for sale by public auction shall be deemed
