NEVIS FOOT BRIDGE.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Monday, 21st August for Contract No. 1121. Construction of Foot Bridge over the Nevis at Sponce.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office or the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the District Engineer’s Office, Cromwell.

PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.

I HEREBY give notice that this Board intends to levy at its next meeting, which will be held on Saturday, 5th August, a General Rate of One Shilling (1s.) in the Pound net annual value on all property within the jurisdiction of the Board, the said rate being for the year ending 30th June, 1877.

A statement of the proposed rate can now be seen with me.

Objections to the proposed rate must be sent to me in writing not later than 12 o’clock on Saturday, 5th August, 1876.

BLUESKIN ROAD DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given to Ratepayers in the Blueskin Road District that on Wednesday, the 16th day of August, 1876, the Board intend making a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound for the year ending June 30th, 1877.

The Rate Roll, with a statement of the proposed rate, can be inspected at the house of the undersigned at Purakanui, and all objections must be delivered in writing to the Clerk of the Board on or before the 15th of August, and the Board will hear and decide such objections at a meeting to be held for that purpose at their office at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, August 16th.
