BEAUMONT AND WAITAHUNA WEST DISTRICTS.

WEDNESDAY, 30TH AUGUST, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given that section 3, block III., Beaumont District, containing 19 acres, 2 roods, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Survey Office, Lawrence, on Wednesday, 30th August, 1876, at noon, at the upset price of £1 1s. per acre, with £6 valuation added. Also sections 1, 2, 112, and 113, block I., Waitahuna West District, at the upset price of 30s. per acre.

MOUNT IDA WATER WORKS.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, July 4, for Contract No. 17 : Construction of about one mile and forty-seven chains of Flushing Race.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed, “Tender for Contract, No. 17.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

BLUFF WHARF EXTENSION.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 11th July, 1876, for Contract, No 1126 : Addition of 390 feet to west end of Bluff wharf.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the District Engineer’s Office, Invercargill.

Tenders to be endorsed, “Tender for Contract, No. 1126.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

GREY ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS Wanted for the Formation of Road from the Main South Road to Railway Station, Greytown.

Plans and specifications to be seen at the School-house, Greytown.

Messrs. Allan and Cullen will meet intending contractors at the Railway Station on Saturday, 24th June, at one o’clock p.m., to point out the work.

Tenders to be sent to the Chairman of the Board on or before Friday, 30th June.

WAIPORI ROAD BOARD.

TENDERS will be received at Waipori Post Office until noon of 1st July for Formation of Road from Berwick to Henly Railway Station. Separate tenders for works at Lee’s Canal.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS are invited to form, more or less, 14 chains of Road on Mr. David Crawford’s section, North Road, and Culverts.

Plan and specification at Mr. Thomas Brown’s, North East Valley.

Also to form 4 chains, more or less, on road line bounded by sections 59 and 68, block 11, Pine Hill.

Plan and specification at Cable Market Hotel, North East Valley.

Tenders left at Valley School-house on or before Saturday, the 1st July, at 2 p.m., having enclosed five per cent on amount of tender.

The lowest or any not necessarily accepted.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ratepayers in the Road District of North East Valley, including the several townships, viz: — Ravensbourne, Rothesay, Killarney, Hastings, St. Leonards, Roseheath, Woodhaugh, Opho, Calton, Duddingstone, Maybank, Normanby — that on Saturday, the 1st July, 1876, the Board intend making a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound, for the year ending June 1877.

The Rate Roll can be inspected at Mr. Thomas Brown’s, North East Valley, for ten days from the 20th June.
