NOTICE of Alteration in the amount of Penalty to be imposed as per clause 13 in the regulation for the management of Stock pasturage on Hundred for the year, 1876, from £5 to £1.
- "Any cattle found depasturing on any Hundred 'not being the property of or in the custody of a 'licence holder, or depasturing on any Hundred in contravention of these regulations, may be impounded, and the owner or custodian of such cattle shall forfeit and pay for every such offence the sum of £1, to be recovered in a summary way."

LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.
Mr. ROBERT SHORT, Land Office, Dunedin, has been appointed to supply information as to settlement on the land, whether by immediate purchase, deferred payments, or under agricultural leases.
Mr. Short will show maps of the land and assist purchasers or selectors in making the necessary applications.
FORTROSE CEMETERY.
His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has appointed Mr. John Edward Attwood to be a Manager of Fortrose Cemetery.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 25th April, for Contracts No. 1114 to 1120, supply of Maintenance Metal on road Dunedin to Palmerston, in quantities from 1,000 to 2,000 cubic yards.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer.
