NOTICE is hereby given that Section 15, Block V., Clarendon District will be offered for sale by public auction on Wednesday, 3rd May, 1876, at Capstick, Duthie, and Co.’s Auction Rooms, Milton, immediately after the sale of the Townships, at the upset price of £1 per acre, with valuation for improvements to the extent of £295, to be paid at auction.

LEASE OF TOLLS.
THURSDAY, 30TH MARCH, 1876.
THE Leases of the Balclutha and Waikouaiti Toll Gates for the year commencing 1st April, 1876, and ending on the 31st March, 1877, will be sold by Public Auction by Mr. James Milner, at the Provincial Government Buildings, on the 30th day of March next at noon.
The following are the different gates, and the amounts realised by the Government at the sale on March 2nd last, for the year ending 31st March, 1876.
Balclutha ... £610
Waikouaiti ... £75

EDUCATION RESERVES.
THE Lease of the following-mentioned Education Reserves situated in the Town of Oamaru will be offered by auction at the Rooms of Mr. Shrimski, Oamaru, on Monday, the 3rd April, immediately after the sale of Crown Lands:—

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 28th March, 1876, for Contract No. 1103, Construction of Suspension Foot Bridge over Manuherikia River, on Road St. Bathans to Blackstone Hill.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Naseby.
Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1103.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TEVIOT TO ALEXANDRA.
FRESH TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 28th March, for Contract No. 1101, Forming and Gravelling 130 Chains of Road on Teviot Flat.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Stations, Roxburgh and Alexandra.
Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1101.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TUAPEKA TO TEVIOT.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 10th March, for
Contract No. 1090—construction, pitching, and gravelling of 80 chains of road in block 1, Beaumont District.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Lawrence.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1090.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TUAPEKA TO TEVIOT.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 14th March, for
1st Contract No. 1108—supply of 1,845 cubic yards road gravel for Messrs. Whittet’s and Millar’s late contract, Block 3, Tuapeka West District.
2nd Contract, No. 1109—supply of 1,350 cubic yards maintenance gravel for highways, late contract Island Block.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Lawrence.
Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1108 or 1109,” as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, March 10th next, for Contract No. 1063, railway Invercargill to Seaward Bush; bridges, earthworks, and sleepers, with fencing.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at District Engineer’s Office, Invercargill, on and after the 26th instant.
Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 1063.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TICKET CABINETS.
TENDERS will be received at the Government Offices, Dunedin, at noon on Friday, 10th March current, for the supply of 12 Ticket Cabinets according to pattern to be seen at Dunedin Railway Station, one to be delivered within one week of acceptance of tender, other five within a fortnight, and the remainder within a month thereafter.
The Government will not be bound to accept any tender.
