All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement oa. 2r. 21p. more or less, being a road line situate in block III Tuapeka East Survey District bounded towards the north-west by section numbered 13A one thousand two hundred and ten (1210) links more or less and towards the south-east by sections numbered 12 and part of 13 one thousand three hundred and twenty-six (1326) links more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement 1a. 2r. 4p. more or less being a road line situate in block V Tuapeka East Survey District bounded towards the north-east by section numbered 30 and part of 2 three thousand and seventy (3,070) links more or less and towards the south-west by section numbered 8 three thousand and forty-nine (3,049) links more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement oa. 1r. 28p. more or less being a road line situate in block V Tuapeka East Survey District bounded towards the north-west by section numbered 14 and part of 2 nine hundred (900) links more or less and towards the south-east by part of section numbered 8 eight hundred and seventeen (817) links more or less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1876.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the second section of "The Public Health Act Amendment Act, 1875," it is enacted that the Governor in Council may make orders from time to time directing that the provisions contained in the sections twenty to forty-five of "The Public Health Act, 1872," both inclusive, or any of them, be put in force in New Zealand, or in such parts thereof, or in such places therein, as in such orders respectively may be expressed, and may in like manner revoke any such order; and, subject to such revocation as aforesaid, every such order shall be in force for such period as shall be expressed in such order, and in case no period shall be expressed in such order, then such order shall be in force until revocation; and every such order shall be published in the Gazette, and such publication shall be conclusive evidence of such order to all intents and purposes; and none of the said provisions shall be in force in any part of New Zealand until an order directing the same to be put in force shall have been made and published as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and in exercise and pursuance of all authorities in this behalf in him vested, does hereby direct that the provisions contained in sections twenty to forty-five, both inclusive, of "The Public Health Act, 1872," be and are hereby put in force in Dunedin City.

AT a Meeting of the Waste Lands Board, Invercargill, on 27th January, 1876, it was resolved—"That the grazing rights over the Lignite Reserves for one year be put up for public auction, subject to the provisions contained in sections 4 to 11 of the 'Southland Waste Lands Act Amendment Act, 1875,' at the upset price of 2s. (two shillings) an acre. Auction to take place 30 days hence, i.e., on 28th February, 1876, at twelve noon."

2,800 ACRES OF LAND FOR SALE ON DEFERRED PAYMENTS, IN THE TAPANUI HUNDRED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections will be open for application on deferred payments on Wednesday, the 1st day of March, 1876. Application must be made by the applicant in person, at any Land Office in the Province, and a deposit of 1s. 6d. per acre paid at the time of making the application, being the first half-year’s occupation fee. The purchase money is payable at the rate of 3s. per acre per annum for ten years.
Plans to be seen, and lithographs obtained, at the Land Offices at Dunedin, at Lawrence, and at Tapanui.
Sections 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, 23, and 24, Block XI., Crookston Survey District.
TOWNSHIP OF PURAKANUI (Near Port Chalmers).
MONDAY, 6TH MARCH, 1876.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections in the Township of Purakanui—situated on the sea coast about four miles north of Port Chalmers, and within half a mile of the Northern Railway line—will be offered for sale by public auction on Monday, 6th March next, at noon, at the Land Office, Dunedin, at the upset price of £5 per section. All areas above one rood to be offered at the upset price of £5 the quarter acre.
