All that area in the Province of Otago, Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement four hundred and twenty-six (426) acres three (3) roods more or less situate in Run 369, Teviot District, and comprising sections numbered 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 28, 30, and 38; also, road lines, Block II on the map of the said District, bounded towards the north by Crown lands and section numbered 37, two thousand three hundred and ninety and a-half (2390½) links, towards the north-east and south-east by the main road from Teviot to the Dunstan, nineteen thousand and fifteen (19,015) links, towards the south-east by the boundary of the Town of Roxburgh, eight hundred and seventy-six (876) links, towards the south-west by Crown lands, sixteen thousand three hundred and seventy-six (16,376) links, towards the north-west by Crown lands, four thousand three hundred and thirty-one (4331) links.

A Meeting of the Waste Land Board held at Invercargill on 27th January, 1876, it was resolved—“That the grazing rights over the Mataura Lignite Reserves for one year be put up to public auction, subject to the provisions contained in clauses 4 to 11 of the ‘Southland Waste Lands Act Amendment Act, 1875,’ at the upset price of 2s. (two shillings) an acre. ‘Auction to take place 30 days hence, i.e., on 28th February, 1876, at twelve noon.’

DEFERRED PAYMENTS.

TUESDAY, 22ND FEBRUARY, 1876.

1800 ACRES OF LAND for sale on Deferred Payments, in the Kyeburn Hundred.

Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned Sections will be open for application on deferred payments on Tuesday, the 22nd day of February, 1876.

Application must be made by the applicant in person, at any Land Office in the Province, and a deposit of 1s. 6d. per acre paid at the time of making the application, being the first half-year’s occupation fee. The purchase money is payable at the rate of 3s. per acre per annum for ten years.

Plans to be seen, and lithographs obtained, at the Land Offices at Dunedin, at Lawrence, and at Naseby—

Sections numbered respectively 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 14, and 16, Block II., Kyeburn Survey District.


DEFERRED PAYMENT.

THE Right to occupy the undermentioned Sections will be sold by auction between the respective applicants at noon on Wednesday, the 23rd February, at the Land Office, Invercargill.
