MPOUNDED on the 28th day of January, 1876,
by Mr. J. Irvine, Wairuna,
a Red Cow, branded "Z" off rump, tip off near
ear.
Owner unknown; for trespassing on a grass paddock,
for which ten shillings driving expenses are claimed,
and in default of being released, the above cow will be
sold at the Public Pound at Popotunoa, on Friday,
the 25th day of February, 1876, at 12 o’clock noon.

by F. Pogston, Barewood Station,
a brown mare, branded like S.A., off shoulder
Owner unknown, for trespassing on Barewood Station,
for which 7s. 6d. driving expenses is claimed, and in
default of being released, the above mare will be sold
at the Public Pound, on Friday, the 4th day of February, 1876, at twelve o’clock noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that on Monday the
17th instant, the Lightship in the Lower
Harbour of Dunedin will be removed for her annual
overhaul which will occupy about eight days, during
such time a cutter will be moored in her place and
the Light exhibited from an ordinary masthead
lantern.

In consequence of no Election of a Committee having
been made in the Educational Districts of
Port Chalmers, Sawyer’s Bay, Long Bush, Wild Bush,
Queenstown, Macetown, Mount Cargill, Tuaikoto,
and Alexandra, His Honor the Superintendent has fixed
Monday, the 21st February, 1876, at 7 o’clock, p.m.,
for a meeting of the Owners and Occupiers of Land
and Householders in each of the above-named
districts, for election of a School Committee, and for
other business.
