Assent withheld from Provincial Ordinances of Otago.

Wellington, 25th August, 1875.
THE following Ordinances, passed by the Provincial Council, and reserved by the Superintendent of Otago for the signification of the Governor's pleasure thereon, entituled
"The Invercargill Town Hall Site Ordinance, 1875;"
"The Invercargill Public Offices Ordinance, 1875;"
And "The Gaol Street Diversion Ordinance, 1875,"
has been pleased to withhold his assent from the same.

IT is hereby notified that, in conformity with clause 3 of "The Otago Municipal Corporations Empowering Act, 1865," the name of the following person has been sent in to this office by the Town Clerk, as having been elected Mayor for the place set opposite his name, viz.,—
