PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.
IN accordance with section 49 of the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871," I hereby give notice that it is the intention of the Peninsula Road Board, at their next monthly meeting, to be held at 12 o'clock on Saturday, 2nd October, 1875, to levy for the year 1875-6 a general rate of one shilling (1/) in the £, net annual value, on all rateable property within the jurisdiction of the Board.
A statement of the proposed rate can be seen at the office of the Board, Highcliffe School, for ten days after this date.
And I further give notice that objections to the above rate (if any) must be lodged with me in writing on or before 12 o'clock on Saturday, 2nd October, 1875, on which day, and at the above mentioned hour, the Board will meet to consider objection, and to confirm the rate.
