NOTICE is hereby given, that an application has been received by his Honor the Deputy-Superintendent, in terms of the "Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1875," to erect the townships of Kensington, South Dunedin, South Dunedin Extension, Forbury, Forbury Extension, St. Kilda, Musselburgh, and Kew, and the districts thereto immediately adjoining, comprising that portion of the flat lying to the south of Dunedin, bounded by the Anderson's Bay road on the east, by the Ocean Beach sand-hills to the south, by the Forbury road on the west, and the Main road to Caversham on the north, into a Municipality; and it is his Honor's intention, as required by the Ordinance referred to, subject, however, to such modifications of the boundaries as may be found necessary, to comply with the request, provided no valid objections are lodged at his Honor's office within six weeks from this date.

1st Contract No. 1053, supply of 2300 cubic yards road metal on road, Oamaru to Puckuri Point.

2nd Contract 1054, supply of 1700 cubic yards road metal, on road, Palmerston to Oamaru, near Otepopo township.

Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and the Police Camp, Oamaru.

Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1053 or 1054," as the case may be.

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 21st September, for—

Contract No. 1034, Erection of District Engineer's Office at Palmerston.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin; at the Police Station, Palmerston; and at the District Engineer's Office, Waikouaiti.

Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1034"

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 21st September, for—

Contract No. 1038—Erection of Stone Bridge over Douglas Creek, on road Palmerston to Oamaru.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Hampden.

Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1038."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Gold Mining Leases issued in favour of the undermentioned persons have been cancelled by the Government, the lessees having failed to comply with the provisions of the 22nd section of the Gold Mining Lease Regulations, and the land is now open for occupation by holders of Miners' Rights:—
