THE Owners and Occupiers of Land and Householders in the Districts of Moa Flat, Miller\'s Flat, and Ettrick, are invited to meet in the Schoolhouse on Friday, the 15th October, 1875, at half-past 7 o\'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing a School Committee.

NOTICE is hereby Given to the Ratepayers in the above District, that the rates are now due, and payable to G. M. Shand, Outram, within twenty-one days from date.

HALF-WAY BUSH DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Halfway Bush District Road Board intends to levy a Special Rate of 1s. in the £ on all properties situate in the Waikari Subdivision of the said District; and also a Special Rate of 1s. in the £ on all properties situate in the Flagstaff Subdivision of the said District, for the period ending June 30, 1876.

All objections against rate or assessment (if any) must be lodged in writing with the undersigned on or before Thursday, September 16, 1875.

The rate book is open for inspection daily, at Bunting\'s, Halfway Bush store.

CONTRACTORS are invited to tender for the following works:--

No 1.--80 yards of 2½ inch Road Metal for Sawyer\'s Bay; the specification to be seen at Mr Menzie\'s Store, Sawyer\'s Bay.

" 2.--50 yards of 2½ inch Road Metal, broken and spread, on the Belt Road, Signal Hill.

" 3.--100 yards of 2½ inch Road Metal for Pine Hill.

" 4.--200 yards of 2½ inch Road Metal for Pine Hill.

" 5.--300 yards of 5 inch spalls for Pine Hill.

All the above to be of the best blue stone; and specifications for Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, at the Cattle Market Hotel, North-East Valley, to be numbered as above, and left at School House, North-East Valley, on or before the 18th September, at 2 p.m. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted by the Board.
