Subdivision 1, Part 8, of Schedule 13 of said Act
"For appointing limits within which it shall
not be lawful to keep any swine."
It shall not be lawful to keep swine within the
following limits, namely—the southern side of the
Wetherstones Creek (commencing at a point in the
said Creek opposite to the north-east corner of the
Athenæum Reserve, and terminating at a point in
the said Creek opposite to the western corner of section
13, block XL) on the north and north-west; Lismore
street and Oban street to its junction with Burrow
Street, on the south; Whitehaven street, from Ross
Place to its junction with Lismore street, on the
east; and Burrow Street, from Oban street to its
junction with the Beaumont Road, on the west;
which limits are colored red on the map marked B
deposited in the office of the Town Clerk.

No. 7.

A Regulation made under the authority of section 2,
Subdivision 1, Part 8, of Schedule 13 of said
Act—"For appointing hours for the removal of
night soil, offal, or other offensive refuse matter,
and a place for the deposit of the same."
1st.—No person shall empty any privy, or load
carry, remove, or deposit any night soil, offal, filth,
rubbish, or other offensive matter, within the Town
of Lawrence, save between the hours of eleven
o'clock p.m. and six o'clock a.m. on any day.
2nd.—No person shall deposit any night soil, offal,
filth, rubbish, or the contents of any privy, within
the Town of Lawrence, at any place save and except
at "The Town Manure Depot," situate at and being
the Market Reserve adjoining Hastings Street, on
the north-west boundary of the Town of Lawrence,
which place is colored yellow on the said map marked
B, deposited in the office of the Town Clerk.

No. 8.

Regulations made under the authority of section 73,
Subdivision 2, Part 10, of Schedule 13 of said
Act—"For appointing the several sums to be
paid for licenses for carts, the weight to be car-
ried for a single load by every cart licensed to
stand or ply for hire, not being night carts, and
for wood carts and water carts respectively;
for appointing the rates and charges to be paid
for the hire of any licensed cart, and the amount
of rewards to be paid to water carters attending
at fires," &c., &c.
1st. For every license for any cart plying for hire
within the town of Lawrence there shall be paid to
the Town Clerk the sum of Ten shillings annually.
Every license to be available only till the 30th day of
September, after the date of its issue.

The foregoing Regulations were made by the
Council of the Town of Lawrence, at an ordinary
meeting held on the 28th day of June, 1875.

Akatore.
TAKE notice that I desire the boundary fence be-
tween sections 33 and 29, block VI., Akatore,
section 33, block VI., and section 23, block I., Akatore,
made immediately; said fence to be of posts 5 wires,
with double ditch and bank.

MEETING will be held in the Provincial Govern-
ment Offices, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 9th day
of September, 1875, at noon, to consider the application

for an Auctioneer's License.

NOTICE.
THE Suburban Road Board directs it to be notified,
that the owners of Cattle trespassing on any of the
above District Roads will be dealt with according to law.

IMPOUNDED on the 11th day of August 1875, by
John Boyle, for Allan Boyd, Lovel's Flat.
1 white bullock, red muzzle and ears, branded DX on
off rump.
Owner unknown, for trespassing on fenced land, for
which two shillings damages are claimed, and in default
of being released, the above bullock will be sold at the
Public Pound, at Lovel's Flat, on Friday the 3rd day
of September, 1875, at 12 o'clock noon.

From Tois Tois,
A DARK Bay Filly, rising five years, unbroken, well
bred, with a white snip on the nose, branded LG
near shoulder. Any person delivering the same to Mr.
John Hamill, Woodlands, will receive £2 reward, or £1
will be paid to any one giving such information as will
lead to its recovery. 4-10s.

SUPREME COURT CIRCUIT SITTINGS.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that a Circuit Court Sitting
of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal
and Civil business will be holden in the Court House at
Lawrence, on Tuesday, the twenty-first day of Septem-
ber next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon; at
which time and place all persons bound by recognizances,
or otherwise, to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defen-
dants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
