ROXBURGH TOWNSHIP.

FRIDAY, 1ST OCTOBER, 1875.
NOTICE is hereby given that Sections 1 and 2, Block XXII, Roxburgh, will be offered for Sale by Public Auction, at the Survey Office, Clyde, on Friday, the 1st October, 1875, at noon, at the upset price of £5 per section, with valuations for improvements to the extent of £150 on each.

RUN 461.—1ST OCTOBER, 1875.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lease for ten years of Run 461, containing 2000 acres, will be offered for Sale by Public Auction, at the survey office, Clyde, on the 1st day of October next, at noon, in terms of the "Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872," and especially the 144th clause of that Act, at the upset price or premium of a half-penny per acre. Rental to be an assessment of 3s. 6d. for every head of great cattle, or 7d. for every head of small cattle, on the number to be hereafter determined by an assessor, to be appointed by the Waste Land Board, of the stock-carrying capacities of the Run. The Lease to commence on the 1st day of October, 1875. The deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money shall be payable at the fall of the hammer, the balance within a month from date of sale.

IT is hereby Notified, that by virtue of the powers given in Section 51 of the "Otago Waste Land Act, 1872,"

APPLICATIONS are invited for the following-mentioned Appointments:—
Matron of the Otago Normal Institution, Salary £225;
Headmaster of the Practising School, Normal Institution, £450;
Sub-Inspector of Schools, £350;
Male Assistant Drawing Teacher, £150;
Female Assistant Drawing Teacher, £75.
No residence will be provided, or rent allowance paid, in addition to the salary mentioned.
Other things being equal, preference will be given to Teachers in the service of the Otago Education Board.
