PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by section 10 of the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871, Amendment Ordinance, 1874," it is provided that if, from any cause whatever, the persons entitled to vote at any election for any district or for any sub-division of any district, shall fail or neglect to hold an election of members of the District Board of such district on the day appointed for that purpose by the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871," it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, by proclamation in the Government Gazette, to appoint a day for the holding of such election.
Now therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the said section, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and appoint Thursday, the 15th July next, to be the day for holding the election of members of the North Taieri Road Board, for the Wingatui Sub-division of the said Road District.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, this 29th day of June, 1875.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has appointed
BENJAMIN PEDDIE BAYLY, Esquire,
To be Chief Inspector of Sheep for the Province of Otago.
Also, that he has appointed
JAMES MURISON, Esquire,
To be Inspector of Sheep for the Northern District, residing at Oamaru, vice Bayly, promoted.
Both appointments to take effect from the 1st July, 1875.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 19th July, for Contract No. 1036--
Erection of Stone Culvert over Creek at Police Camp, Queenstown, and approaches thereto.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Queenstown.
Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1036."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
SEPARATE TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Lands and Railways, Dunedin, until noon of Friday, the 16th July, 1875--

For delivery into the Railway waggons at Port Chalmers of 600 tons of the best Newcastle screened Coals.

For delivery into the Railway waggons at the Bluff of 600 tons of the best Newcastle screened Coals.
In each case the coal may be delivered in one or two lots, the first lot within eight weeks from the date of the acceptance of the Tender; the second lot eight weeks after the first.
The Government is not bound to accept the lowest any tender.
