MEETINGS of Ratepayers qualified to vote, will be held as under, to nominate Candidates for election to fill four vacancies in the District Road Board :
Harlington Subdivision—At Sawyer's Bay Schoolhouse, on Wednesday, 26th May, at 12 noon.
Signal Hill Subdivision—At North-East Valley School House, on Thursday, 27th May, at 12 noon.
Pine Hill Subdivision—At Cattle Market Hotel, on Friday, 28th May, at 12 noon.
Should a poll be demanded in any Subdivision, the election will take place at the above-mentioned polling place, on Thursday, the 10th day of June, from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.
TENDERS are invited to supply 1000 yards of good 2½-inch Road Metal, and spread the same on the West Harbour Road, lower end, at per yard.
A SEPARATE TENDER will be received to form 5 chains, more or less, on the Beach Road, below St. Leonards. The work will be pointed out to contractors on Tuesday, the 8th day of June, at 11 a.m.
TENDERS are also invited to supply and spread 250 yards, more or less, of 5-inch stone spalls for No. 8 Road, Pine Hill. Specifications for the above at Cattle Market Hotel, North-East Valley.
TENDERS will be received for fencing the New Road on section 18, block X. (Mr. Reid's section), with a sheep proof fence, at per chain. Specification for fencing at Mr. Thomas Brown's, North-East Valley.
Tenders for any of the above works to be left at Valley School-house, on or before the 12th June, at 2 p.m.

LINDHURST ROAD DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Lindhurst District Road Board purpose applying to His Honor the Superintendent to declare the following road line a main District Road, that is to say: All that irregular road line starting from a point on the main Hokonui District Road 6200 links from Trig. OI (a dot within the O), thence in-a northwest direction through block IVA, thence through the said block and section 3A, thence 3100 links west of Trig. OG (a dot within the O), thence through part of section 5, thence along the Hedgehope stream for 11,300 links, and also through sections 6 and 9, thence by an irregular line along the south-west boundary of section 16, thence along the north boundary of sections 14 and 1, thence through an unnumbered block to the east boundary of block XVII, thence through block XVII, and along the south boundary of sections 19 and 27, all the said blocks and sections being situate in the Waimumu District, and thence in a south-west direction to the boundary of the said Waimumu Subdivision of the Lindhurst Road District aforesaid.
