WARRANT
Appointing a Commissioner of Southland Waste Lands
Board.
WHEREAS a Board has been established under the
Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865, called the
Waste Land Board; And whereas, by the 6th section of
the said Act, it is provided that the said Board is to con-
sist of one Chief Commissioner, and of not less than the
number than five, other Commissioners, all of whom
shall be appointed and be removable by warrant under
the hand of the Superintendent:
Now, therefore, I, JAMES MACANDREW, in exercise of
the powers vested in me by the said Southland Waste
Lands Act, 1865, and of all other powers in anywise en-
abling me in this behalf, do hereby nominate and appoint
SIR JOHN LARKINS CHEESE RICHARDSON,
to be a Commissioner of the said Waste Land Board
established under the said Act.
As witness my hand this 13th day of May, 1875.

NOTICE is hereby given that Edward Tupker and
party, having requested to be allowed to withdraw
their application for a mining lease of 16 acres of land on
the Carrick Range, Dunstan District, the Government
have sanctioned the same, and the land is now open for
occupation by holders of Miner\'s rights.

cancelled the application of Josiah Mitchenson for
a mining lease of section 1, Block III, Wakefield district,
and the land is now open for occupation by holders of
Miner\'s rights, &c.

agreed to sanction the application of William
Rolland to surrender the certificate issued to him under
the Gold Mining regulations for a lease of ground in the
Lander district, and the land is now open for occupation
by holders of Miner\'s rights.

Between Charles Flexman, plaintiff, and George Reeves,
defendant.
NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of a writ
fieri facias, to me directed and delivered, issued
out of this Honorable Court in this cause on the twen-
tieth day of January last, and in pursuance of "The
Executions of Judgments, against Real Estate Act, 1867,"
all the estate and interest of the above named George
Reeves, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of land.
Situate in the Tokomairiro District in the Province of
Otago, containing by admeasurement one rood (more or
less), being section numbered thirty-six (36), block (III.)
of the subdivision map of that portion of the private
township of Milton, signed by one Peter M\'Gill, and de-
posited by the with the Registrar of Deeds for the Pro-
vince of Otago aforesaid, bounded towards the north-east
by section numbered thirty-five of the same block, two
hundred and twenty-five links; towards the south-east
by Albert-street, one hundred and twelve links, towards
the south-west by section numbered thirty-seven of
the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; and
towards the north-west by section numbered twenty-nine
of the same block, one hundred and twelve links; being
all that parcel of rural section numbered one hundred
and thirty-four, block seventeen, on the Record Map of
the same Tokomairiro District of the Province aforesaid, the
memorial of judgment of which is registered in the office
of the Registrar of Deeds in Dunedin in the Province
aforesaid, as the suit of the above named Charles
Flexman, the execution creditor, been levied upon and
taken in execution, and will be sold by auction at the
Sheriff\'s Bailiff\'s Office, Supreme Court House in Dun-
edin, on Saturday, the 3rd day of July next, at twelve
o\'clock at noon, unless the said execution shall be pre-
viously satisfied.

estate in fee simple, and C. C. KETTLE, of Princes-street,

Waikouaiti District.
TAKE NOTICE, that we desire that the boundary or
separating fence between sections 23 and 22 of
block I., Waikouaiti District aforesaid, be made imme-
diately, and that such fence shall be a fence of posts and six
wires, with posts not more than eight feet apart inserted
not less than two feet into the ground, the upper wire to
be not less than four feet three inches from the ground.
