PROCLAMATION
Time fixed for Shooting Native Game in the Province of Otago, excluding the late Province of Southland.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in me in that behalf, and under and by virtue of "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873," I, James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby proclaim and appoint the months of April, May, June, and July, in each year, as the months in which native game named in the 5th Schedule to the said Act, may be shot, taken and killed, within the Province of Otago, excluding the late Province of Southland.

Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin, this first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

PROCLAMATION
Appointing months during which Native Game may be killed in the District of Southland.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS by section eleven of the "Protection of Animals Act, 1873," it is provided that no native game shall be hunted, shot, taken, or killed in any part of the Province except during such months as may from time to time be proclaimed by the Superintendent, not exceeding four consecutive months, in respect of each bird mentioned in the 5th Schedule of the said Act.

Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in exercise of the powers and authority vested in me by the said section of this said Act, and every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and appoint that native game, named in the 5th Schedule to the said Act, may be hunted, shot, taken, or killed, within that part of the Province of Otago known as the District of Southland, from the 12th day of the month of March to the 12th day of the month of July in each year.

Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, this 5th day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

PROCLAMATION
"Hospitals Ordinance 1862," Cromwell District Hospital.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the province of Otago.

WHEREAS by section 13 of the "Hospitals Ordinance, 1862," it is provided that "the provisions of this ordinance or any part thereof, shall be applied to such institutions only to which the Superintendent with the advice and consent of his Executive Council shall think fit to apply the same by proclamation to be published in the Provincial Government Gazette, and from and after the publication thereof, this Ordinance shall be deemed and taken to apply to the institution specified in any such proclamation: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Province of Otago and under and in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by the said section, and

of every other power in any wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim the provisions of the "Hospitals Ordinance, 1862," to be applied to the Cromwell District Hospital.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin in the said Province, this twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

PROCLAMATION
Protection of Animals Act, 1873.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esq., Superintendent of Otago.

WHEREAS by section 10 of the Protection of Animals Act, 1873, it is provided that "no game shall be hunted, shot, taken, or killed in any Province until the same shall have been proclaimed as open for that purpose, by proclamation in that behalf to be made and published in the Gazette," and no game shall be hunted, taken, or killed, except within a consecutive period not exceeding three months of any year, to be fixed by the Superintendent, by proclamation, as aforesaid, between the first day of May and the thirty-first day of July, both inclusive, in any year, and only between the hours of sunrise and sunset. Such period when fixed in accordance with this Act shall be deemed to be the "season" for the purposes of this Act."

Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, under and in pursuance of the powers and authority vested in me by the said section, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim all that area lying between the Waitaki River and Catlin's River, and ten miles back from the sea coast, as open for hunting, shooting, taking, or killing, cock pheasants, between the hours of sunrise and sunset, during the season of the months of June and July, in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin, in the said Province, this 30th day of March, 1875.

NOTICE.

Otago Harbour Board.β€”Audit of Accounts.

NOTICE is hereby given, that in accordance with section 27, of the "Otago Harbour Board Ordinance, 1874," the accounts of the Otago Harbour Board, balanced to the 31st day of March, 1875, and a statement and account of the annual of all contracts entered into, and of all moneys received and expended, by virtue of the Otago Harbour Board Ordinance, 1874, during the year ending 31st day of March, 1875, and of all available assets, and of all debts up to the said date, owing by the Otago Harbour Board, together with proper vouchers in support of the same, and all books, papers, and writings, in the Board's custody, or power relating thereto, will be produced, and laid before the Provincial Auditor, at his office, Dunedin, on the 16th day of April next, and the said Provincial Auditor will, on the said 16th day of April next, proceed to audit the Accounts so balanced as aforesaid together with the said statement and accounts, and any person interested in the said accounts as a creditor of the Board may be present at the audit of the said accounts by himself or his agents and may make any objection to any part of such accounts.

Dated at Dunedin, this 6th day of April, 1875.
