AMENDED NOTICE. SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that a sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil business, will be held at the Supreme Court House at Dunedin, on Monday the 12th day of April next at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

Between Charles Flexman, plaintiff, and George Reeves, defendant.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that by virtue of a writ, fieri facias, to me directed and delivered, issued out of this Honourable Court in this cause on the twentieth day of January last, and in pursuance of "The Execution of Judgments, against Real Estate Act, 1867," all the estate and interest of the above named George Reeves, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of land, situate in the Tokomairiro District in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one rood (more or less), being section numbered thirty-six (36), block (III,) the subdivision map of that portion of the private township of Milton, signed by one Peter M'Gill, and deposited by him with the Registrar of Deeds for the Province of Otago aforesaid, bounded towards the north-east by section numbered thirty-five of the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; towards the south-east by Albert-street, one hundred and twelve links, towards the south-west by section numbered thirty-seven of the same block, two hundred and twenty-five links; and towards the north-west by section numbered twenty-nine of the same block, one hundred and twelve links; being part and parcel of section numbered one hundred and thirty-four, block seven, seventy-one, on the Record Map of the Tokomairiro District of the Province of Otago aforesaid, the memorial of judgment of which is registered in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in Dunedin in the Province aforesaid, has, at the suit of the above-named Charles Flexman, the execution creditor, been levied upon and taken in execution, and will be sold by auction at the Sheriff's Bailiffs' Office, Supreme Court House in Dunedin, on Saturday, the 3rd day of July next, at twelve o'clock at noon, unless the said execution shall be previously satisfied.

Dated in Dunedin, this 25th day of March, 1875.

M U R D E R.

The Body of a Female Child found in a Waterhole or Shaft near Arrowtown.

FIFTY POUNDS REWARD.

WHEREAS on the 9th instant the body of a fully developed Female Child with four punctured wounds in the head, supposed to have been dead between two and four months; was found in a waterhole known as Barracouta Shaft, near Arrowtown. The body was wrapped in a piece of scarlet flannel, covered with white calico, and sewn up in the remains of a pink cotton dress, placed in a pasteboard box, and put into any mustard or lozenge tin cannister. And whereas at an inquest held on the same day by H. A. Stratford, Esq., R.M. and Coroner, on the body of the said child, the jury returned a verdict of Wilful Murder against some person or persons unknown.

Notice is hereby Given, that a Reward of £50 will be paid by the Provincial Government of Otago to any person who will first give such information to the Police as will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who caused the death of the said Child, and His Excellency the Governor will be advised to grant a Free Pardon to an accomplice, not being the person who actually caused the death's child, who will give such information as will lead to a like result.
