Bruce who will point out the work in the Brighton Sub-
division to intending contractors on the 1st April at 2 p.m.
Plans and specifications must be lodged with the
undersigned. The Board does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD.
TENDERS are invited to form twelve chains, more or
less, 16 feet wide, and supply 130 yards 3-inch
good road metal, on Hawthorn road.
Also, about 150 yards 3-inch road metal, to be broken
and spread on the Old Port road.
Specifications can be seen at Mr. Thomas Brown\'s,
North-East Valley, and the works will be pointed out to
intending contractors on Wednesday, 7th April, at 9 a.m.
Contractors to meet at Brown\'s Hotel. The lowest or
any tender not necessarily accepted.

ment Offices, Dunedin, until noon of Tuesday, the
6th of April, 1875, for the supply and delivery into Rail-
way trucks, at Port Chalmers, of 300 tons best New-
castle screened Coal, to be delivered within one month
from the date of accepting tender.
The Government will not be bound to accept any
tender.

I HEREBY give Notice, that I intend to construct a
tunnel tail race, or drainage channel, for draining
and working coal lease, commencing at a point in Shep-
herd\'s Creek, Bannockburn, and terminating in my coal
lease.
The length of such tunnel tail race is 200 yards, or
thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west.
The mean depth and breadth of such tunnel tail race
is 6 feet by 3 feet.
