starting from a point 13 chains north of the southern
boundary of sections 30 and 31, and dividing sections 31
and 53 from sections 30 and 70 round the northern
boundary of section 70 is reached; and to open in lieu
thereof a road one chain wide starting from an existing
district road 13 chains north of the southern boundary of
section 31, and thence, through sections 31 and 32 until
the district road on the southern boundary of section 37
is reached. Also to close that road of a semicircular form
situated in section 53. Also to close that line of road
starting from Government Road through section 9 Block
IV, and dividing sections 10, 11, and 47, from sections
29, 70, and 53 of said block.
All persons affected by the above alterations are in
terms of the thirtieth section of the Highway Boards Em-
powering Act, 1871, hereby called upon to set forth in
writing, addressed to the Tuturau Road Board, within
forty days from date of this advertisement, all objections
which they may have to said alterations; a plan and
specifications which, are deposited for inspection at
Tuturau School House.

Tenders stating terms, with testimonials and

Also for formation of about 20 chains of Road near

Culvert Formation &c., at Brighton.
Contract No. 3.—Construction of Embankment,
Culvert and Cutting, at Blair's Creek,
Brighton.
Further information may be obtained from the Chair-
man Mr Thomas Howorth, Walton Park, and Mr. John
Bruce who will point out the work in the Brighton Sub-
division to intending contractors on the 1st April at 2 p.m.
Plans and specifications may be seen by applying to
the undersigned. All tenders must be lodged with the
Chairman. The Board does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.

TENDERS WANTED by the Portobello Road Board
for the following works:—
Sandymount Sub-division.
Cutting an embankment on Sealpoint road. Plan
and specifications to be seen at the house of Mr. George
Boyles, Sealpoint road; also at Mr. Edward Camp-
bell's, surveyor, Woodhaugh Sawmills, Water of Leith,
Dunedin. Mr. Boyles will show the work to contrac-
tors on Wednesday, the 31st of March, at one o'clock.
Broadbay Sub-division.
Contract No. 1.—Formation on Rutherford and Elle's
road. Specifications may be seen at the house of Mr.
Robert Dick, who will show contractors the works at
10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30.
Contract No. 2.—Larnach road, near Mr. M'Lennan's,
about fourteen chains of formation.
Contract No. 3.—Larnach road, near Mr. T. Allan's,
about three chains of formation.
Contract No. 4.—Larnach road, near G. Anderson's,
new culvert and repairs. Specifications with Mr. Wil-
liam Anderson, who will show the work, meeting the
contractors at Mr. M'Lennan's upper gate, at 1 p.m.
on Tuesday, March 30.
Tenders must be lodged with the Chairman not later
than noon on Saturday, 2nd April, 1875.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD.
TENDERS are invited to form twelve chains, more or
less, 16 feet wide, and supply 130 yards 3-inch
good road metal, on Hawthorn road.
Also, about 150 yards 3-inch road metal, to be broken
and spread on the old Port road.
Specifications can be seen at Mr. Thomas Brown's,
North-East Valley, and the work will be pointed out to
intending contractors on Wednesday, 7th April, at 9 a.m.
Contractors to meet at Brown's Hotel. The lowest or
any tender not necessarily accepted.

Under Section 1, of Regulation IV.
WHEREAS I have received sufficient proof that the
portion of the Otago Goldfield, described in the
Schedule hereto, is for the whole or the greater part of
an inferior character as regards the value of its gold de-
posits: Now, therefore, I hereby give Notice that the
same may be occupied by holders of Miners' Rights in
claims of the undermentioned size:—
One (1) acre for each holder of a Miner's Right,
provided that no Block Claim shall comprise
more than six (6) acres altogether.
Given under my hand at Naseby, this 5th
March, 1875.

Gully, Mount Ida, about one mile and three quarters be-
low the main Dunstan Road, bounded on the north by

about 4 chains; and on the west by Crown Lands about
4 chains.

ship between the undersigned, trading as Keligher
and O'Donnell, hotelkeepers, at the European Hotel,
Dunedin, on this day DISSOLVED by mutual consent.
Patrick Keligher will continue to carry on the said busi-
ness, and pay all debts due by the late firm, and receive
all debts due to the late firm.
