Sheriff's Appointed.

Wellington, 9th January, 1875.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned gentlemen to be Sheriffs for the districts set opposite their names, respectively, as the same are defined in a Warrant dated the 6th instant, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th instant:

Isaac Newton Watt, Esq., Otago.

These appointments to take effect from the 21st instant.
