NOTICE TO MAKE FENCE.

To A. Ft. Ross, owner of Section 79 Block V Dunedin and East Taieri District or whom it may concern.
To R. Rossbotham and J. F. Peake, owners of Sections 73 and 75 Block V Dunedin and East Taieri District.

Take notice that I desire that the boundary or separating fence between section 74 Block V Dunedin and East Taieri District and the above named sections be made on or before the 20th day of January 1875, and that such fence shall be a post and four rail fence according to the Fencing Ordinance.

NOTICE TO FENCE.

To the occupiers of Section 55, Block 3, Maungatua District.

Take notice that I desire that the boundary or dividing fence between sections 54 and 55, block III., Maungatua District, be put up immediately (or within a month from date), said fence to consist of posts with four wires and double ditch, according to clause 3, schedule B., Fencing Ordinance of 1872.

HEREBY give Notice, that I intend to construct a Water Race, from Paved Creek, for domestic purposes and irrigating, commencing at Mr. Handyside’s primitive right, east side, on the Woolshed flat, and terminating on my land, where I do reside.

The length of such water race is one mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south. The mean depth and breadth of such water race is 2 feet wide and 1 foot deep, and it is capable of carrying one sluice-head of water.

£5000.—SEVEN PER CENT. DEBENTURES.

CROMWELL CORPORATION WATERWORKS LOAN,
Issued under Act of the General Assembly, dated 31st August, 1874.

The Corporation of Cromwell invite tenders to the amount of £2000, bearing interest at 7 per cent, payable half-yearly.

The debentures will be payable in 30 years, and will be dated 8th January, 1875. They will be for £50 each, and the coupons attached for each half year’s interest will be payable at Cromwell or Dunedin at the Bank of New South Wales.

A minimum price will be fixed before tenders are opened.

Tenders in accordance with the annexed form will be received by the Town Clerk, Cromwell, up to 8 p.m. on Friday, the 8th January, 1875, endorsed “Tender for Debentures.”

Payments of 5 per cent on the amount applied for shall accompany each tender; balance on 22nd January, 1875.

One red and white steer, branded GS on the off rump, for wandering at large on the public road, Blueskin, for which 3s. is claimed to defray expense of driving—owner unknown; also on the 10th instant.

One brown horse, white face, hind feet white, branded like † on the near shoulder.

One bay horse, white face, three white feet, branded like ‡ on the near shoulder—owner unknown for wandering at large on the public highway, Blueskin; also on the 17th inst.

One white heifer, branded like TI on the off rump—owner unknown for trespassing on Main North Road, Blueskin, for which 4s. is claimed to defray expense of driving; end in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the public pound at Blueskin, on the 4th day of December, 1874, at 12 o’clock noon.
