in each district: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance (No. 2), 1874," Session 26th October, 1874, No. XXXIII., do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads, and to leave such statement, addressed to me, at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the first publication hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

Contracts No. 88 and 89.—Survey of about 30,000 acres in Waipahoe and Kuriwao Districts.

Tenders to be indorsed "Tender for Contract No. 1000."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

Contract Nos. 995, 996, 997, and 998—Gravelling portions of road between Silverstream and Maclean’s Store.
Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer Dunedin, and at Schoolhouse, North Taieri.
Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 995, 996, 997, or 998," as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
GRAVELLING WEST TAIERI BRIDGE TO ROUGHRIDGE.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 3rd November, 1874, for—
I. Lindhurst Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-houses, Grove Bush and Edendale.
II. Glenledi Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Akatore.
III. North-East Valley Road District.
Plan to be seen at the School-house, N.E. Valley.
IV. Greenvale Survey District.
Plan to be seen at the School-house, Tapanui.
