To the District Land Officer at Naseby.
I HEREBY give Notice, that I intend to construct a Water Race, for cutting chaff and for other farming purposes, commencing at a point in Kanrow Creek, and terminating at about five (5) chains from the "Western Hotel." The length of such Race is two (2) miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is in an easterly direction. The mean depth and breadth of such race is three (3) feet wide and one foot six inches (1 1/2 feet) deep, and it is capable of carrying three (3) sluice-heads of water, and will be completed in two months.

NOTICE TO FENCE.
TO the occupiers of section 22, block I., Akatore.—Take Notice, that I desire that the boundary or dividing fence between sections 22 and 37, block I., Akatore, be put up immediately (or within a month from date), said fence to consist of posts, with four wires and double ditch.

NOTICE TO MAKE A FENCE.
TO Thomas or Alexander Inglis, or whom it may concern.—Take Notice that I desire that the boundary or separating fence between your land and mine, viz., section 29, block 2, North Harbour and Blueskin, and number 1 of section 28, block 3, of North Harbour and Blueskin, be made immediately, on or before the 15th November, 1874, and that such fence shall be five wires, according to section 5 of Schedule B of "The Fencing Ordinance, 1872."
