SUPREME COURT CIRCUIT SITTING.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that a Circuit Court Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil business, will be held in the Court House at Lawrence, on Tuesday, the 15th day of September next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances or otherwise to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE.
THE partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned as contractors in respect of the contract for the Extension and Repair of the the Bluff Wharf and Jetty, under the style of SYKES & MOFFETT, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. The undersigned William John Moffett will take over all assets, and discharge all liabilities of the said firm, and all communications or applications in respect thereof, are hereby directed to be made to him.

INCENDIARISM.
Maliciously setting fire to Two Stacks of Wheat and Oats and one Stack of Hay.
£100 REWARD.
And a Free Pardon to an Accomplice.
WHEREAS between 5 and 10 o’clock on the morning of the 8th instant two stacks of Wheat and Oats and one of Hay, situate at Grange Farm, near Alexandra, the property of Thomas Oliver, were discovered on fire, by which they were destroyed: And whereas at an inquest held on the 20th instant to enquire as to the origin of the said fire the Jury returned the following verdict: “That the stacks were set on fire by some person or persons unknown.”
Notice is hereby given that a reward of £100 will be paid by Provincial Government of Otago to any person who will first give such information as will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons by whom the said fire was caused, and His Excellency the Governor will be advised to grant a Free Pardon to an accomplice not being the person who actually caused the fire, who will give such information as will lead to a like result.
