SOUTH MOLYNEUX DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that the above Board intends to form a road line on part sections 11 and 12 Block II., South Molyneux District; said road to be 100 links wide; and under the authority and powers vested in the Board, as per "Highway Boards Empowering Act," together with the "Lands Consolidation Act." The plan of the above road can be seen by any person interested, for 40 days from this date, at the School-house, Port Molyneux, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; and any persons affected by the above are required to state their objections in writing, and forward to the Board within 40 days from this date; and the Board will meet to hear and decide upon objections (if any) on Wednesday, the 19th day of August, 1874, at noon.

KENSINGTON SCHOOL—DUNEDIN SUBURBS.

THE School Committee of Kensington invites applications for the offices respectively of Schoolmaster and Schoolmistress of the District School. Salary of the Master, the Government Allowance (£100) and 60 per cent. of the Fees; Mistress, the Government Allowance (£75) and 20 per cent. of the School Fees. Applications with Testimonials to be lodged with the undersigned on or before the 21st July, 1874. School duties to commence on 3rd August.

TIME AGAIN EXTENDED.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that the Commissioners appointed for that purpose under the Southland Waste Lands Act Amendment Act, 1873, have furnished to him the description of the boundaries of the land classified by them as Agricultural Land and as Pastoral Land respectively, pursuant to the provisions of the said Act; and that copies of such description have been deposited at the Land Office in Dunedin, and at the Land Office, Invercargill, where the same may be inspected by the public at any time during office hours; and further, that the said description of boundaries will be published in the Otago Provincial Government Gazette on Wednesday, the 29th day of July next, on and after which date the whole of the land therein described will be open for sale, except such parts thereof as may be reserved.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Nominations of Candidates for the office of Mayor of Dunedin for the year ending 1st August, 1875, will be received on Monday, the 13th July, 1874, at the terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water-street, at the hour of Noon. Nominations in form of Schedule D of the “Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” can be lodged at the Town Clerk’s Office, Manse-street (where blank forms can be obtained) on or before Noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.
