IMPOUNDED. On the 5th day of June, 1874, by Mr. Daniel Hanlon, farmer, Waikouaiti Valley.
One brown gelding, brands like IG on near shoulder, star and white streak on forehead, rope on neck.
Owner unknown, for which five shillings driving expenses are claimed; and in default of being released the above gelding will be sold on Friday, the 3rd day of July, 1874, at 12 o’clock noon, at the Leaning Rock, Clyde Pound.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be held at the Supreme Court House, at Dunedin, on Monday, the sixth day of July next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE OF ORDER.

MEETING of the Portobello Road Board, held on Saturday, the 6th day of June, 1874, in accordance with clause 31, Part 7 of the “Highway Boards Empowering Act,” having heard and decided upon all objections lodged against the taking (compulsorily) a Road through sections 4 and 5, block III, Otago Peninsula, the Board has resolved to proceed with the above road, as per plans and specifications, in terms of clause 33, Part 7, “Highways Boards Empowering Act,” together with the “Land Clauses Consolidation Act.”

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given, that in terms of the “Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871,” and under the authority of the “Highway Boards Empowering Act,” together with the “Lands Consolidation Act,” the District Road Board have resolved to make a deviation of the Branch Road line between sections 41 and 43, and to take said deviation through a portion of section 43, block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin, to connect with the Main Trunk Road; the said deviation to be 60 links wide. The plans and specifications of the above branch road and deviation can be seen by any person interested for forty days from this date at the North-East Valley Schoolhouse, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Any person affected by the intended deviation of road are required to state their objections in writing and forward to the Board within forty days from date, and the Board will meet to hear objections (if any) on Wednesday, the 19th day of August, 1874, at 1 p.m., at N.E. Valley Schoolhouse.
