OTAGO WASTE LANDS ACT, 1872,
Section 65—Sub-section 1,
Tuapeka Schedule.
To the District Land Officer at Lawrence.—I hereby give Notice, that I intend to construct a Water Race for Agricultural purposes, commencing at a point about 300 yards from the north-east boundary of section 1, block IX, Tuapeka East, traversing sections 1 and 10, block IX, and terminating in section 49, block X, Tuapeka East.
The length of such race is half a mile, or thereabouts, and its intended course is about east to west. The mean depth and breadth of such race is about 15 inches by 14 inches, and it is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water.

SUPREME COURT.
Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be held at the Supreme Court House, at Dunedin, on Monday, the sixth day of July next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses are required to give their attendance.

One bay filly, branded J U, off shoulder, Owner unknown, for trespassing on enclosed paddocks, for which One Pound damages is claimed; and in default of being released, the above filly will be sold at the Public Pound at Otakia, on the 26th day of June, 1874, at 12 o'clock noon.

INCENDIARISM.
Maliciously Setting Fire to a Stack of Wheat.
£100 REWARD
And a Free Pardon to an Accomplice.
WHEREAS about 11 o'clock on the night of the 29th ultimo, a stack of wheat, situated at Totara, near Oamaru, the property of the New Zealand and Australian Land Company, value £180, was discovered on fire and whereas the said fire is believed to have been the act of an Incendiary:
Notice is hereby given, that a reward of £100 will be paid by the Provincial Government of Otago to any person who will first give such information as will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons by whom the said fire was caused, and His Excellency the Governor will be advised to grant a Free Pardon to an accomplice, not being the person who actually caused the fire, who will give such information as will lead to a like result.
