NOTICE.
I, JAMES MACANDREW, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby, under and by virtue of the thirty-third section of The Highways Boards Empowering Act, 1871, and of every and any other power in anywise in this behalf enabling me, appoint Tuesday, the seventeenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, at my office at the Provincial Government Buildings, Dunedin, to be the time and place for taking into consideration an order made by the North-East Valley Road Board, directing the taking of two road lines, as follows, viz.: one road through part sections 51, 52, 55, block XI, North Harbour and Blueskin; and another road through part sections 17 and 19, North-East Valley, and part section 11, block X, North Harbour and Blueskin Districts, and that I will then and there take into consideration all objections against such undertaking, as provided for by the said Act.
Dated at Dunedin, this third day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified, that he has appointed Thomas Artley, Esquire, to be general manager of the Bluff and Winton Railways, in the absence of William Conyers, Esq.

NOTICE TO IMMIGRANTS.
The Government having determined to wind up all outstanding accounts due by Immigrants for passage money, intimation is hereby given to all those in arrear, that unless payment is made on or before the 1st day of March next, the Provincial Solicitor will be instructed to take proceedings in order to enforce a settlement.
Parties not in a position to pay in full, or who wish an extension of time, are requested to apply personally, or forward particulars of their cases to the Treasury before the above date.

LEASE OF TOLLS.
The Leases, for the Year from 1st April 1874 to 31st March 1875, of the various Tolls throughout the Province, will be sold by public auction, at the Provincial Government Buildings, on the 20th day of March, at noon.
The following are the different gates and the amounts received last by the Government for the year ended 31st December:

TRAQUAIR HUNDRED.
The Wardens of the Traquair Hundred having resigned, a Meeting for the Election of three persons to act as Wardens for the present year will be held at the Court-House, Outram, at half-past six o’clock, p.m., on Saturday, the 7th instant.

APPLICATIONS having been made to purchase Sections 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 54, 55, 56, 59, 63, block VII, and sections 1 and 2 block XIII, Waipahi District, it is hereby notified that objections to the issue of certificates for the occupation thereof, on deferred payments, must be notified at least twenty-four hours before the ninth day of February, 1874.
