NOTICES OF LAND SALES

TUESDAY, 20th January.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Section 69, Block I, Otago District (being part of Coast Reserve), containing 17a 0r 28p, will be offered for sale by public auction, after the Town Land Sale there, on Tuesday, the 20th January next, at 11 a.m., at the upset price of £3 3s per acre.

Rental to be an assessment of three shillings and sixpence for every head of great cattle, or 7d for every head of small cattle, to be registered on the Run; but the minimum stock on which assessment shall be charged not to be less than 5,000 sheep.

Lease to commence on 30th January, 1874. A deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money, and of the annual rent shall be payable on the fall of the hammer, the balance within a month.


NOTICE is hereby given, that Section 25, Block II, Warepa District, containing 77 acres, 1 rood, and 33 poles, (formerly a Bush Reserve), will be offered for sale by public auction, on Tuesday, the 20th day of January next, immediately after the Town Land Sale of Newhaven, at noon, at the upset price of £1 1s per acre.

5260 ACRES Agricultural land in Glenkenich and Waipahi districts. Run No. 167x.

Conical Hills, on the west bank of the Pomahaka River at its junction with the Waipahee River. Notice is hereby given that the following Rural Sections will be open for application at the Land Office, Invercargill, on and after Tuesday, the 20th of January next, at the upset price of £1 per acre.


TUESDAY, 20th January.

PRELIMINARY NOTICE.

5000 ACRES of Land offered for application on deferred payment at Waipahi.

Notice is hereby given that Sections 30 to 39, 40 to 51, 54, 55, Block VII, Waipahi; and parts of Blocks X and XIII, same district, unsurveyed, to the west of Block VII, will be open for sale on deferred payments on and after the 20th January next.

Applications for all the land situated south of the Waipahi River must be made at Dunedin; and for that north of the Waipahee River, at Invercargill; and must in each case be accompanied by a deposit of 1s 3d per acre.

The part surveyed is divided into sections of from 60 to 94 acres; the unsurveyed portion may be applied for in sections not exceeding 200 acres.


The following sections will be open for application on the 20th January, 1874, at the Land Office, Dunedin, at the upset price of £1 per acre:

Notice is hereby given, that the following Rural Sections in Block XII, North Harbour and Blueskin District, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Friday, the 30th day of January next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 per acre, and subject to the re-payment of the survey expenses set opposite each section:

LEASE OF RUN No. 141.—100,000 ACRES FOR SALE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Lease for ten years of the above Run, situated near Martin’s Bay, West Coast, and bounded as follows, commencing at the junction of Pyke’s Creek with the Hollyford River, thence by a line running due east to the summit of the watershed at the head of the right-hand branch of the Routeburn, thence by a line to Cosmos peak, thence by a line due north to Canterbury boundary, thence westerly along the Canterbury boundary to a point north of the north-west angle of Lake Alabaster, thence southerly to Lake Alabaster, along margin of lake and by Pyke’s Creek, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Survey Office, Queenstown, on the above day, in terms of the “Uncultivated Lands Act, 1872,” at the upset price of £d per acre.


TUESDAY, 3rd February, 1874.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Sections 336, 337, 338, 339, 340, and 341, Port Chalmers, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of February next, at noon, at the upset price of £12 10s 0d each.


TUESDAY, 10th February, at noon.

4067 ACRES, 0 roods, and 35 poles Agricultural Land in Glendonich District, Run 168, near Tapanui.

Notice is hereby given, that the following Rural sections will be sold by auction at the District Land Office, Lawrence, on Tuesday, the 10th day of February next, at the upset price of £1 per acre. For particulars see Gazette published in December last.


TUESDAY, 17th February.

1500 ACRES near Lake Hawea for sale on deferred payments. Price 2s 6d per acre for 10 years.

Notice is hereby given, that part of Block V, Lower Hawea District (south of Block I, already surveyed) will be open for application on deferred payments as unsurveyed land, at the Land Office, Clyde, on the 17th Feb., 1874.

Applications must be accompanied by a deposit of 1s 3d per acre.

Plans to be seen at Clyde and Dunedin.


FRIDAY, 20th February, 1874.

2582 ACRES at Roxburgh, for sale on deferred payments.

Notice is hereby given that Block III and IV, Teviot District, on the east bank of the Clutha, will be open for application at the Land Office, Clyde, on the 20th Feb., 1874.

The blocks are divided into sections of about 50 acres each.

Applications must be accompanied by a deposit of 1s 3d per acre, which will be credited to the first year’s purchase money.

The price will be an annual payment of 2s 6d per acre for ten years, when, if the conditions are fulfilled, the land becomes the freehold of the applicant.
