TENDERS

TENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Monday, the 29th December, for:

  • Campbelltown — Manuka, or other wood, per cord
  • Winton — Manuka, or other wood, per cord
  • Kiverton — Manuka, or other wood, per cord
  • Lowther — Manuka, or other wood, per cord
  • Maura — Manuka, or other wood, per cord
  • Woodlands — Manuka, or other wood, per cord
  • Oueynki — Manuka, or other wood, per cord

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Post-office, Port Molyneux. Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 857." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.—Separate Tenders

Wanted for the following Contracts:

  1. 80 yards metal, Main Road, Tapanui.
  2. 60 yards metal, Maunu Road.
  3. 9 chains formation, Maunu Road.

Work to be shown on Monday, 29th December.
Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS will be received at this office until noon of Monday, 29th December, for:

  • Contract No. 80.—Survey into sections of 50 and 100 acres each, of about 2800 acres in Tewiot district.
  • Contract No. 81.—Survey of about 400 acres, Benger district, one-half into sections of about 100 acres each, the remainder in one block.
  • Contract No. 82.—Survey of about 5000 acres Waikaka district, on McNab's Run, into sections of 200 acres each.
  • Contract No. 83.—Survey of about 2500 acres in Highlay district (Macraes), into sections of about 50 acres each.

Plans and specifications of Nos. 80, 82 may be seen at the Survey Office, Dunedin and Invercargill; the others at Dunedin only.

Tenders must be accompanied by a deposit of 5 per cent. The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 13th January, 1874, for:

  • Contract No. 849.—Formation of 63 chains of road, Glenomaru to Catlin's River, commencing near Pollock's mill and extending up the Omaru stream.

Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Post-office, Port Molyneux. Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 849." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS wanted for:

  1. Contract No. 850.—Formation and gravelling portion of road Mataura Bridge to Toitois, commencing 30 chains north of Dowall's mill, and extending towards Waipahi, 207 chains.
  2. Contract No. 851.—Formation and gravelling 40 chains of road Mataura Bridge to Toitois, between the township of Wyndham and bridge.
  3. Contract No. 852.—Construction and gravelling 25 chains of road Clutha to Mataura, situate near Williamston's, about ten miles north of Mataura Bridge.
  4. Contract No. 856.—Gravelling 140 chains of road Mataura Bridge to Toitois, commencing at the Mataura Bridge township and extending towards Wyndham.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Mataura Bridge.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 850, 851, 852, or 856," as the case may be. The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS

TENDERS are invited for the erection of a Schoolhouse and teacher’s residence at Purakanui. Plans and specifications to be seen at Mr. Kettle's store, Port Chalmers, till the 27th inst., and at the Education Office from the 29th inst. till the 3rd January, 1874.

Tenders to be lodged with the undersigned on or before the 5th January.

PORT CHALMERS WATERWORKS.

TENDERS are invited for the construction of the above works, according to plans and specifications to be seen at the Engineer’s office, Port Chalmers.

Tenders, marked outside "Tender for Waterworks," to be addressed to the Corporation Engineer, C. D. Irvine, Esq., Port Chalmers, not later than the 28th February, 1874. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

AMENDED NOTICE.

TOKOMARIRO GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

Wanted, applications for the appointment of Head Master to the above school. Salary £300 per annum, inclusive of emoluments, with house and glebe of 10 acres. Duties to commence 31st March, 1874. Applications, with testimonials, received up to 2nd January, 1874.

Tenders will be received up to 8 p.m. on Monday, the 5th day of January next, to be addressed to:
