TENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Monday, the 29th December, for—

1st. Contract No. 80.—Survey into sections of 50 and 100 acres each, about 2800 acres in Teviot district.

2nd. Contract No. 81.—Survey of about 4000 acres in Benger district, one-half into sections of about 100 acres each, the remainder in one block.

3rd. Contract No. 82.—Survey of about 5000 acres in Waikaka district, on McNab’s Run, into sections of 200 acres each.

4th. Contract No. 83.—Survey of about 2500 acres in Highlay district (Maerewhenua), into sections of about 50 acres each.

Plans and specifications may be seen at the Survey Offices, Dunedin and Invercargill; the others at Dunedin only.

Tenders must be accompanied by a deposit of 5 per cent. The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

THE PALMERSTON ROAD BOARD invite tenders for 1174 cubic yards Road metal, Bushey Subdivision; 3000 cubic yards road metal, Goodwood Subdivision; 30 chains, more or less, screened gravel, Meadowbank.

Tenders to be lodged with Mr. W. A. Young, on or before noon Wednesday, 17th December, 1873.

Plans and specifications to be seen at the house of the Clerk. The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS wanted by Green Island Subdivision of Suburban Road Board for extending approaches to bridge, and metalling the same; also for supplying 150 yards, more or less, of broken metal, and for executing other earthworks. Plans, &c., to be seen with W. Thomson.

Tenders to be sent in not later than the 15th December to Chairman of Board. The Board will meet at the bridge on Friday, the 12th, at noon, to show the works. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

OUTRAM ROAD BOARD.—TO CONTRACTORS.

TENDERS are invited by the above Board for the execution of the undermentioned works, viz:—

  1. 2000 yards gravelling, more or less.
  2. 22 chains formation on road from West Taieri Pound to Maungatua.
  3. Street formation and footpath in the town of Outram.
  4. 43 chains drain, and road formation between blocks V and VI, Maungatua district.
  5. Drain and road formation through blocks III, IV, and V, Maungatua district.

Plans and specifications for Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5, may be seen at the office.
