TENDERS
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 28th Oct., 1873, for:
Contract No. 787 - Formation and gravelling of 160 chains of road at Palmerston, Shag River towards Oamaru.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Offices of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Palmerston.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 787.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TUAPEKA DEPASTURING DISTRICT.
Notice to Stockowners.
NOTICE is hereby given to persons depasturing sheep in the Tuapeka Depasturing District that it is the intention of the Government to subdivide the sheep country into Runs of 5000 acres each, the leases of which for seven years will be sold by public auction in January next, due notice of which will be given. Possession of the Runs to be given on the 1st April, 1874.
It is further notified that after that date no sheep will be allowed to depasture on the remaining portion of the Commonage.

Notice to Stockowners.
