(1.) All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement 1a Or 24p more or less being a road line situate in block I Oamaru survey district: bounded towards the north-west by part of section numbered 1 of 56 block I two thousand three hundred (2300) links more or less and towards the south-east by sections numbered 23 and 26 and part of 28 block I two thousand three hundred (2300) links more or less.

  1. Greenvale Road District.

(1.) All that area in the Province of Otago Colony of New Zealand containing by admeasurement seven 7a Or 32p more or less situate in the Greenvale district and intersecting sections numbered 4 and 5 block II on the map of the said district: bounded towards the north-east and south-east by parts of said sections 4 and 5 seven thousand five hundred and thirty (7530) links towards the north-west and south-west by other parts of said sections 4 and 5 seven thousand three hundred (7300) links towards the west by a road line one hundred and fifty (150) links and also one hundred and twenty (120) links.

  1. Makarewa Road District.

(1.) All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement 18a 2r 25p more or less being a road line situate in block IV Invercargill Hundred: bounded towards the north by parts of sections numbered 14 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 block IV eighteen thousand (18000) links more or less and towards the south by other parts of said sections numbered 14 27 28 29 30 31 32 and 33 block IV eighteen thousand (18000) links more or less.

Plan to be seen at the School-house Grove Bush.

Tokomairiro, to be Emigration Agent in Britain for the Province, and that he will leave this in the course of a month to commence his duties.

Mr Adam will be in attendance as under, with the view of conferring with parties anxious to bring out friends, or otherwise, viz:—
At Commercial Hotel, Tokomairiro, on Wednesday, 22nd inst., from 11 to 4.
At Commercial Hotel, Lawrence, on Friday, 24th inst., from 11 to 4.
At Golden Fleece Hotel, Waikouaiti, on Tuesday, 28th inst., from 12 to 6.
At Star and Garter Hotel, Oamaru, on Thursday, 30th inst., from 10 to 4.

BONUS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A WOOL-PACK AND SACK MANUFACTORY IN OTAGO.

THE Provincial Government being desirous of encouraging the manufacture of Wool-packs and Sacks, is prepared to receive offers from parties willing to embark in the enterprise, and is further prepared to pay a bonus of £1500 as under:—
On the erection of buildings and machinery to the value of at least £2000—£750.
On the production of Sacks or Wool-packs to a value of not less than £500—£400.
On the production of a further quantity of Sacks or Wool-packs to the value of not less than £1000—£350.

The cloth in each case to be produced by machinery permanently established in the Province, and to be manufactured either wholly or to a large extent from Phormium Tenax, or other indigenous plants, or from other material grown in the Province.

Offers will be received at the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, until the 1st of May, 1874, and should state the estimated cost and productive power of the machinery proposed to be erected, the date on which the same will be in operation, and that the parties are prepared to be bound in the sum of £1000 to produce sacks and wool-packs to the value of £1500 within three years from the date on which their offer is accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept any offer.

ISAAC NEWTON WATT, Esq., B.M., and
LEWIS LONGUET, Esq.,

to settle disputes between District Road Boards and the owners of property through which deviations of Roads were made prior to the election of District Road Boards under the “Roads Ordinance 1871” for the Otago and Southland districts respectively.
