WAKATIPU DEPASTURING DISTRICT.
Notice to Stockowners.
NOTICE is hereby given to persons depasturing sheep in the Wakatipu Depasturing District, that it is the intention of the Government to subdivide the sheep country into Runs of from 5,000 to 10,000 acres each, the leases of which for seven years will be sold by public auction in January next, due notice of which will be given. Possession of the Runs to be given on the 1st April, 1874.
It is further notified that after that date no sheep will be allowed to depasture on the remaining portion of the Commonage.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 21st October, 1873, for
Contract No. 7.—Construction of about 20½ miles of Headrace from Peg 22-40 to Peg 43-18.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; and at Police Camp, Naseby.
Tenders to be indorsed “Mount Ida Water Supply—Tender for Contract No. 7.”
