NOTICE TO GENERAL ROAD BOARDS.
THE attention of District Road Boards is directed to
Section 154 of the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1871,"
which provides that an annual statement of accounts shall
be published in a newspaper circulating in the district,
and a copy sent to the Superintendent, to be forwarded
to the Provincial Council within ten days after the com-
mencement of its next session. The statement should be
made up to the 30th of June in each year, and as the
Provincial Council will be in session on and after the 1st
July, it should be sent in at once, made up to the 30th
June, 1873.

Between Thomas Hammond, plaintiff; and Alexander
McPherson, defendant.
NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of a writ of
Fieri Facias, to me directed and delivered, issued
out of His Honorable Court in this case, on the thirty-
first day of January last, and in pursuance of "The Exe-
cution of Judgments against Real Estate Act, 1867," all
the estate and interest of the above-named Alexander
McPherson, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of
land, containing by admeasurement twenty perches, more
or less, situate in the town of Roxburgh, in the Province
of Otago, in New Zealand, being the north-east moiety of
Section numbered eight (8) Block six (VI), on the map
of the said Town of Roxburgh, bounded towards the
north-west by Section six, one hundred and twenty-five
links, towards the north-east by Cheviot street one hun-
dred links, towards the south-east by section ten, one
hundred and twenty-five links, and towards the south-
west by the other moiety of the said Section eight, one
hundred links, the memorial of judgment of which was
registered in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in Dun-
edin, in the Province aforesaid, on the first day of Febru-
ary last, has at the suit of the above-named Thomas
Hammond, the execution creditor, been levied upon and
taken in execution, and will be sold by public auction at
the Sheriff’s Bailiff’s Office, Supreme Courthouse, in
Dunedin, on Thursday, the 31st day of July, at twelve
o’clock at noon, unless the said execution shall be pre-
viously satisfied.
Dated in Dunedin, this twenty-fourth day of April,

The estate and interest of the above-named Alexander
McPherson, the execution debtor, intended to be sold, is
an estate in fee simple, subject to a mortgage for three
hundred pounds.
