IMPOUNDED, 13th June, 1873, at Leaning Rock,
Clyde Pound, by Mr John White, farmer, Tiger Hill—
1 white cow, red ears, like H near rump
1 red and white heifer, like H near rump
1 red and white heifer, like H near rump
1 red and white steer, like H near rump
for which 5s per head is claimed, driving expenses; and, in default of the above live stock being released, they will be sold on Friday, the 11th day of July, 1873, at 12 o’clock noon, at the above-named Pound.

IMPOUNDED on the 14th day of June, 1873, by the manager of the Shag Valley Station—
1 black mare, no visible brands, star on forehead, near hind foot white
1 chestnut filly, no visible brands, blaze down face, both hind feet white
1 grey horse, no visible brands, switch tail, black legs
for trespassing on Shag Valley Station, for which five shillings damages are claimed; and, in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Palmerston, on Friday, the 11th day of July, 1873, at twelve o’clock noon.

TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT ROXBURGH.

HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Head Water Race for Flour Mill purposes, commencing at a point about one half-mile above the gorge of Benger Creek, and terminating at the lower end of Moa Flat, opposite Mr Brasil’s hotel.
The length of such race is three miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is east.
The mean depth and breadth of such race is 3 feet, and it is capable of carrying 4 sluice heads of water.
