NOTICE is hereby given, that section 59, block V,
Hawkesbury district, formerly reserved for bush,
containing 50a Or 20p, will be offered for sale by public
auction at the Court House, Hawksbury, on Wednesday,
the 16th day of July next, immediately after the town
land sale there, at the upset price of 21s per acre.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a
dam for agricultural purposes at about 700 yards
below 16 Spring gully, on the Montere run near Wood
Track gully, and about two miles north-east of the Wai-
keri-keri crossing; said Wai-keri-keri to save water at
head of race.
The mean depth and breadth of such dam is fifteen (15)
feet by two hundred (200) feet, and is capable of contain-
ing 200,000 gallons of water.

subdivisions for the year ending June, 1874. In the
event of a poll being demanded, it will be held in the
afore-mentioned places, at noon of the 2nd July next.

Otago Roads Ordinance 1871. Signal Hill subdivision at
North-East Valley Schoolhouse on Monday, the 2nd
June, at 12 noon; Francis Smith, returning officer. Pine
Hill subdivision at Cattle Market Hotel, North-East
Valley, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of June, at 12 noon;
Isaac Green, returning officer. Harrington subdivision
at Schoolhouse, Sawyers Bay, on Wednesday, the 4th
day of June, at 12 noon; John Barrowman, returning
officer. In the event of a poll being demanded, it will be
held in the above places on Thursday, the 12th June,
from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.

1 red and white cow and calf, like Y in circle off ribs;
2 young bulls, no brand.
Owners unknown. Trespassing on district roads, for
which 1s 6d per head driving expenses is claimed, and in
default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at
the public pound, at Oamaru, on Friday, the 27th June,
1873, at twelve o’clock noon.
