NOTICE

THE Partnership heretofore existing between John Swan and Alfred Rutley, carrying on business at Brighton as Flax Dressers under the style or firm of, Swan and Rutley, is this day dissolved by mutual consent.

The business will in future be carried on by Alfred Rutley, who will pay and receive all debts owing from and to the said partnership.

Dated at Dunedin, this 18th day of April, 1873.

TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT SWITZERS.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water race for the purpose of driving machinery, commencing at a point in the Dome Creek, opposite section 21 block I, Wendon district, and terminating on section 28 of the said block. The length of such race is one and a half miles, or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south, and is capable of carrying two sluice heads of Water.

TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT QUEENSTOWN.
District of Queenstown.

I HEREBY Give Notice that I intend to construct a Water Race for Irrigation purposes, commencing at a point on the Shortburn Creek, Half-Way Bay, ten chains above where the Survey line of Block I., South Wakatipu District, cuts the same creek and terminating at section number 15, Block I., South Wakatipu District. The length of such race is fifty chains, or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south, and is to be constructed on the west side of a Government surveyed road, running past sections 97, 27, and 26, Block I., South Wakatipu District.

The mean depth and breadth of such race is fifteen inches by twenty-four inches, and it is capable of carrying four sluice-heads of water.
