NOTICE
Of certain land in the town of Oamaru in the Province of Otago having been set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the Inhabitants of Oamaru.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for the purposes of recreation for the use of the inhabitants of the town of Oamaru; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose:
Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for the purposes of recreation for the use of the inhabitants of the town of Oamaru (that is to say):—
Block ninety-six (XCVI) town of Oamaru, containing by admeasurement three (3) acres and twenty-two (22) poles more or less.
Dated at Dunedin this fourteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as an endowment for Oamaru Hospital; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose:
Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as an endowment for Oamaru Hospital (that is to say):
All that area in the Province of Otago, containing by estimation two thousand (2000) acres more or less, situate in the Kakanui District, being part of block numbered ten (X) on the map of the said district; bounded towards the north by the northern boundary of Kakanui Hundred, seventeen thousand six hundred (17600) links; towards the east by section numbered six (6), nine thousand two hundred and forty-eight (9248) links; towards the south-east by the Kakanui Hundred, seven thousand (7000) links; towards the south by Crown Lands, eleven thousand five hundred (11500) links; and towards the west by the western boundary of Kakanui Hundred, twelve thousand four hundred (12400) links.
Also all that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation two thousand (2000) acres, more or less situate in Maruwenua District, being part of block numbered six (VI) on the map of the said district; bounded towards the north by block numbered V, five hundred (500) links, and nine thousand seven hundred and twenty (9720) links, also by section numbered 14 block VI two thousand five hundred (2500) links towards the east by Crown Lands six thousand two hundred and fifty-six (6256) links, by section numbered 22 eight hundred and forty-seven (847) links, by section numbered 23, block VI, eleven thousand (11000) links, by section numbered 17, block
