N OTICE is hereby given that the agricultural lease prepared in favour of Charles Carson, for section 9, block II, Tiger Hill district, has been cancelled, in consequence of the refusal of the lessee to execute the same, and the land is now open for application under the agricultural lease regulations.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 12th November, 1872, for

Contract No. 633 — Construction of Timber Bridge over the Shotover River, near Arthur’s Point.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Station, Queenstown.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 663.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

PAYMENT TO BE MADE IN LAND OR CASH AT OPTION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
