NOTICE.

Otago Roads Ordinance 1871.

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has, under the powers conferred on him by the 119th section of the above-mentioned Ordinance appointed

Mr. WILLIAM TELFORD,

a Member of the Clutha Road Board, the sufficient number of members for the said district required by the said Ordinance, not having been elected at the first general election held for the said district after the first constitution thereof under the said Ordinance.

Members of the Hampden Road Board, the sufficient number of members for the said district, required by the said Ordinance, not having been elected at the first general election held for the said district after the first constitution thereof under the said Ordinance.

IT is hereby notified that a Writ issued for the election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of Wakari, in place of James Macassey, Esq., has been returned with a certificate to the effect that

of Upper Kaikorai, freeholder, has been duly elected.
