SUBDIVISION OF DISTRICTS

Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby appoint the several days hereinafter specified, at twelve o’clock noon, for the first election of Members of the District Board for the several districts and subdivisions hereinafter mentioned respectively, to be elected under and by virtue of the said recited Ordinances.

ABSTRACT FROM PREVIOUS GAZETTES

Of Impounding Notices—
26th July, Friday noon, a Mare will be sold at Caversham Pound.

PAYMENT TO BE MADE IN LAND.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 26th July, 1872, for Contract No. 576—construction of portion of road, Dougherty’s hotel to Fitzgerald’s store, Tuapeka.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Tuapeka.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 576.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

In consequence of the tenders for payment by land already received having been much in excess of value of work, payment for contracts will be made in cash, and accordingly fresh tenders will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 26th July, 1872, for Contracts Nos. 646, 647, and 648—constructing portions of the Pukeuri road in block I, Giemorma district.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Otepopo.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 646, 647, or 648,” as the case may be.

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Lands and Works until noon of Tuesday, 30th July, 1872, for Contract No. 652—supply of sixteen hundred cubic yards of Gravel, on road “Saddle Hill to West Taieri Bridge.”

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Outram.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 652.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Offices of the Secretary for Lands and Works until noon of Tuesday, 30th July, 1872, for Contract No. 653—supply of one thousand cubic yards of metal on road from Sawyers’ Bay to Port Chalmers.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 653.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
