TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 2nd July, for Contracts Nos. 646, 647 and 648—Constructing portions of the Puerua road, in block I, Glenomaru district.

WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LAND under “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866.”

The Section in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the applicant is informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on his application at this Office, on Wednesday, the 10th day of July, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon, on or before which day, objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the application being granted, the purchase money may be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue at Invercargill, within a few days.

25,000 Acres of Land in Maruwenua, Awamoko, and Kakanui Hundreds, open at 10s an acre.

APPLICATIONS will be received on and after Monday, the 1st July next, for Lands within the above Hundreds, under the 35th clause of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,” at 10s an acre.

Applications for Surveyed Land must be accompanied by a deposit of 1s per acre, and the Land will forthwith be advertised by auction, open to all bidders, at the upset price of 10s per acre, and immediately after the sale the deposit will be returned to the applicant.

Applications for Unsurveyed Land will be received and recorded. The applicants will, within four months of the dates of their applications, have to survey the land by the District Surveyor into sections of not more than 320 acres each; and as soon as possible after approval of the survey, the land will be offered for sale by auction, open to all bidders, at the upset price of 10s—the cost of the survey to be paid by the purchaser.
