NOTICE
Of certain lands in the Kyeburn District, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a Coal Reserve.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a Coal Reserve; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a Coal Reserve (that is to say):β
All that area in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one (1) acre three (3) roods and thirty-nine (39) poles, more or less, situate in Kyeburn district, being section numbered two (2) block five (V), on the map of the said district; bounded towards the north-west by Crown Lands, one thousand three hundred and sixty-two (1362) links; towards the north-east by Crown Lands, one hundred (100) links; towards the south-east by section numbered one (1), and Crown Lands, one thousand three hundred and sixty-two (1362) links; and towards the south-west by Crown Lands, one hundred and twenty (120) links.
Dated at Dunedin, this twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Lands and Works until noon of Friday, 7th June, for Contract No. 642, Alterations and Repairs to Invercargill Goods Shed.
Plans and specifications may be seen and Forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Railway Office, Invercargill.
Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 642."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
Time Shortened.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 4th June, for Contracts Nos. 643, 644, and 645 constructing and metalling portions of the road "Palmerston to Eweburn."
Plans and specifications may be seen and Forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Naseby.
Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 643, 644, or 645," as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
