NOTICE is hereby given, that the application of Thomas Linklater for a Mining Lease of 9 acres of land at Twelve-mile Flat, Wakatipu, has been cancelled; and the land in question is now open for occupation by holders of Miners’ Rights.

5th April, Friday noon, a bullock, a steer, a heifer, and a calf will be sold at Clyde Pound.

5th April, Friday noon, a large lot of cattle will be sold at Papakaio Pound. See Gazette of 20th March, 1872.

PAYMENT TO BE MADE IN CASH

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 29th March, for

Contract No. 634 – Supply and spreading 1500 cubic yards of Road Metal, on road Dunedin to Portobello.

Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 634.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

CONTRACTS FOR WHICH PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MADE IN LAND.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 29th March, for

Contract No. 633 – Construction of Bridge across the Shotover, near Arthur’s Point.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Queenstown.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 633.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works, until noon of Friday, 29th March, 1872, for contract No. 571 – forming a bridle track between George’s store, Kyeburn, and the Township of the Maerewhenua Diggings.

“Maerewhenua to Mount Ida Digging through the Maerewhenua Pass.”

Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, or at the Police Station, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 571.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Friday, the 5th April, for

Contract No. 635 – Formation of portions of Road Naseby to Coal-pit between Naseby and Kyeburn.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, or at the Police Station, Naseby.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 635.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS are invited for certain works in Clarendon Road District. Mr. M’Bride will meet intending contractors on Friday, 12th April, at 10 o’clock, at Lake Waipori bridge, to point out the works and show specifications.

Tenders to be lodged with the undersigned by noon on 13th April. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
