NOTICE.
MALICIOUSLY SETTING FIRE TO A BRIDGE.
WHEREAS early in the morning of Tuesday, the 2nd of January last, the bridge over the Arrow River, between Big Beach, New Chum Gully and Arrowtown, the property of the Provincial Government of Otago, was maliciously set on fire and damaged to the value of about £60.
Notice is hereby given that a reward of £20 will be paid by the Provincial Government of Otago, for such information as will lead to the conviction of the person who maliciously set fire to the said bridge.

NOTICE is hereby given that the mining lease issued in favor of Trattzo and Leffer, for section 24, Mid Wakatipu, has been cancelled, and the land is open for occupation by holders of Miners’ Rights.

NOTICE is hereby given that William Henry Wilks, having abandoned his Agricultural Lease of section 28, block II, Blackstone District, the land is open for application under the Agricultural Lease Regulations.

PUBLIC NOTICE,
Under Section 1, Regulation IV.
WHEREAS I have received sufficient proof that the portion of the Otago Goldfield described in the Schedule hereto, is for the whole or the greater part of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits: Now therefore I hereby give notice that the same may be occupied by holders of Miners’ Rights in claims of the undermentioned size, viz.:
One (1) acre for each holder of a Miner’s Right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six (6) acres altogether.

All that portion of the Otago Goldfield comprising four acres, more or less, situate on a terrace on the west side of the Main Gully, Hogburn, and bounded on the north by Cooper’s Extended Claim, 140 yards; on the south by Patrick Kearney’s Paddock, 140 yards; on the east by Crown Lands, 140 yards; and on the west by Crown Lands, 140 yards.
TEANERAKI LOCAL ROAD BOARD.
WHEREAS the Local Board of the Teaneraki Road District has requested the Otago General Road Board to borrow the sum of Five Thousand Pounds under the provisions of the “Road Districts Loan Ordinance 1865,” for the purpose of constructing a light line of railway from Oamaru to the Waireka Valley within the said district:
Notice is hereby given to the ratepayers on the assessment roll of the said district that the General Board will grant the request of the Teaneraki Local Road Board at a meeting of the General Board to be held at Dunedin on the 14th day of March next, unless that two-thirds of the ratepayers on the assessment roll of the said district are unfavorable to the loan being contracted, as provided in Clause 2 of the said Ordinance.
