ELECTORAL ROLL.

Registration Forms may be had from any of the Registration Offices in the Province, or from the Provincial Government Storekeeper, Dunedin.

CORRECTION

Second last line of page 75 of Gazette of 31st January last, take out the 6s.; also on page 76, 17th line from top of first column, for "100 4 0" read "100 7 1."

PENALTY £20.

POUNDKEEPERS.—Several Poundkeepers having neglected to make their Returns as required by the Impounding Ordinance, are reminded that penalty for such neglect is £20, which will be enforced, if the returns are not made forthwith.

EAST Taieri Pound.

The Bay Mare advertised to be sold on the 16th day of February has been claimed.—J. Purvis, Poundkeeper.

OMARU Pound.

The Red and White Bullock, branded W R off rump, impounded in the Oamaru Pound on the twenty-sixth of January, is claimed by C. G. Moor.—John Gray, Poundkeeper.

IMPOUNDED

On the third day of February, 1872, by Boyes Brothers, a dark brown mare, near hind foot white, white strip down face, and branded R off shoulder, owner unknown, for trespassing on Falls Station, for which £2 10s. trespass are claimed; and, default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the Public Pound at Hayes’ Lake, on Friday, the first day of March, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—W. IMPOUNDED

On the 6th day of February, 1872, by Messrs Fleming and Heiley—one bay horse, J F near shoulder, C W off shoulder; grey horse 2 WH near shoulder; cream coloured pony, A near shoulder, bay horse, HC off shoulder; bay filly, no visible brand; black colt, A near shoulder; light bay horse, no brand; shod, brown mare, A near shoulder; one yearling pony, no visible brand; black filly, WR off shoulder—for trespassing on growing crops on the farm lately owned by Messrs Grant and Kirkildy, for which no damages are claimed; and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the Public Pound, Oamaru, on Friday, the first day of March, 1872.—Fredk. TOLEN or Strayed

From Totara Station in June last, a light bay mare, three years old, branded HC off shoulder, with blaze on face. £5 reward, and £5 on conviction.

Lost, on the 28th ult., in the Township of Queenstown, near the Prince of Wales Hotel, deposit receipt on Bank of New Zealand, for £25, No. 89359. Finder will receive above reward by applying to J. E. Harington, Storekeeper, Rees street, Queenstown.

29° Victoria, No. 26.—SCHEDULE A.

The undersigned, Charles Colclough, hereby make application to register the “Elizabeth Quartz Mining Company, Registered” under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Limited Liability Act 1865” and the Amended Act 1870, and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular:—

The style of the Company is “Elizabeth Quartz Mining Company, Registered.”

The place of operations is on the Carrick Range.

The nominal capital of the Company is six thousand four hundred pounds, in twelve hundred and eighty shares of five pounds each.

The amount paid up in Cash is one thousand pounds (£1000).

The amount allotted in partly paid up shares three thousand eight hundred pounds.

The office of the Company is at Cromwell.

The name of the manager is Charles Colclough.

The names in full, and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows:—
